May 2022 marks a pivotal milestone for the Domis family as our business turns five years old. We can’t help but be proud of all of our amazing achievements!
From the complete refurbishment of a Grade II listed printing mill into 66 New York loft-style flats, to 290 brand new apartments well underway in the heart of Salford Quays, we aren’t too shy to say we’ve amassed an impressive and diverse portfolio.
“We wanted to disrupt the market in a positive way and give clients what they deserve out of construction”. – Kingsley Thornton
We’ve built our own home – and 399 others – at Local Crescent in Salford, we’ve built a charitable Youth Centre nestled in the heart of Gorton (you can see all of our amazing projects here) but our achievements aren’t just measured in square meters or pounds. We’ve directly employed over 250 members of staff and our sites have provided work and facilities for over 10,000 men and women.
“We’re proud and when we reflect on five years and evaluate what we’ve achieved, it’s pretty phenomenal,” -Lee McCarren
Our lovely line up of subsidiary companies continue to bloom, notably Wright Landscapes who now occupy a nursery of over 150,000 sq. feet in Pickmere, Cheshire, and Bigger Boat, an opulent food & beverage brand launched to compliment our developments.
Domis Eat boasts a repertoire of 10 successful restaraunts, while Domis Utilities has achieved over 2,000 multi-utility connections. Last but certainly not least, Domis Plant
We’ve got even bigger plans underway for the next five years. We’ve put down roots across the UK in London, Cornwall, Birmingham, and Sheffield. This summer work will begin on the first phase of Tuckingmill, Cornwall, where we will assist Salboy in creating almost 500 new homes, transforming the historic mine location into a thriving family community. Further plans for our housing stream include the continuation of Castle Irwell Homes in Salford, where plans are underway for further phases.
Accompanying propositions for Cornwall include yet another Salboy development; a 4-star hotel, restaurant, and wet-leisure complex in Newquay.
This season will also see the completion of the iconic Hallam Towers of Sheffield, and internal fit-out beginning in the luxe apartments of Cluny Mews in leafy Kensington & Chelsea, London.
