The local area

EAST MANCHESTER

Birthplace of Manchester City F.C. and a former gem of the industrial revolution, the Belle Vue area of Gorton has suffered from years of neglect. Projects like this youth centre are helping to regenerate and revitalise this area, restoring the areas pride and former glory.

The Manchester ward in which the project is located ranks 2nd worst in England for the effect of long-term deprivation on children. HideOut gives the children of the area a safe and state-of-the-art space where they can expand their horizons.
