In support of Carers Trust, Domis partnered with Mayo Civils for their Third Annual Charity Golf Event 2022
The leading sponsorship from Mayo Civils, together with sponsorship from others, including Salboy, Matic, Kinlan Brickwork, Complete Wall Solutions, and Alizeti supported the charity event which brought together partners, colleagues, and friends together for an incredible day to raise money for the national charity for unpaid carers, Carers Trust.
The event was organised by Domis Construction and took place on the 2nd September 2022 at the Worsley Marriott in Manchester. Local businesses were invited to enter a team of four into the game which set off at 12pm.
Other activities on the day included crazy golf and on-course golf competitions, with the chance to win some fantastic prizes. The excitement then extended into the evening with a casino themed night from 6.30pm, including a sit-down meal, a live DJ, a close hand magician, and a charity raffle.
“When we heard our friend Andrew Crompton of Cowgills was cycling from Manchester to Melbourne to raise money for the Carers Trust, we thought this would be a great opportunity to show our support” says Lee McCarren, Director, Domis Construction. “This is a charity that does incredible work and we are really pleased to support them while giving our team and trusted partners a great day out.”
Kingsley Thornton, Director, Domis Construction adds, “Our relationship with our partners is integral to our business and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them. A huge thank you to the people of Mayo Civils, Salboy, Kinlan Brickwork, Complete Wall Solutions, Matic, and Alizeti for continually going the extra mile and delivering top quality results on our developments, and of course for their generous sponsorship. We hope everyone had a wonderful time at our Annual Charity Golf Day, the money raised is going to fantastic charity.”
Svetlana Kirov, Director of Fundraising, Carers Trust said:” It is fantastic of Domis to support us in this generous way. On behalf of the UK’s seven million unpaid carers, we are very grateful.”
