Domis Construction is pleased to confirm that BSR Gateway approval has been secured for the Plot A1 New Bailey affordable residential scheme in Salford, the final residential phase of the Salford Central masterplan in Salford’s fast-evolving New Bailey district.
Delivered for valued client ECF, the scheme will bring forward much needed affordable tenure residential accommodation on the prominent Trinity Way anterior route.
The development comprises a 21-storey tower featuring 189 affordable homes and associated public realm.

The location is central to the scheme’s appeal. Anchored by the wider New Bailey development and conveniently located for access to the St. Johns Development and supported by direct road connections, the scheme will provide residents quick access to key employment, cultural and leisure destinations across Salford, Manchester and the wider region.
With Gateway approval now secured, Domis is looking forward to commencing construction in the coming weeks and helping bring another placemaking scheme to the Salford skyline.
This milestone would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the wider project team, including Hawkins Brown, Renaissance, Novo, DFC, Jameson Acoustics, Wright Landscapes, the wider design supply chain, with Domis acting as BRPD and PC.
