Domis is proud to announce full Gateway 2 approval for One Cathedral Square, a major milestone for our client Property Alliance Group and all those involved.
Anyone who has been through the Gateway process will know it’s not a box-ticking exercise. It’s demanding by design: detailed evidence, rigorous technical scrutiny, and close collaboration across every discipline to demonstrate that the building is ready to progress safely and compliantly. Gateway 2 is a key part of the Building Safety Regulator regime and must be satisfied before construction can move forward on higher-risk buildings.
This milestone is the result of a shared focus on quality and detail, made possible by the teamwork of everyone involved.
One Cathedral Square is a 300 unit, 27-storey residential tower with resident amenities such as a gym, cinema room, lounge, riverside gardens and roof terrace sitting within the wider Renaissance masterplan at the end of Deansgate.
