Domis Construction brought colleagues, clients, consultants, subcontractors and wider supply chain partners together last week for the Domis Annual Golf Day 2026, hosted at Withington Golf Club.
This year’s event took things up a gear with the introduction of our first ever festival-style GOLFEST, combining golf, entertainment, competitions and enough bold outfit choices to make the clubhouse question its dress code.
A huge thank you goes to our event sponsors Mayo Civils, Complete Wall Solutions and Kinlan, whose support helped make the day possible. Domis would also like to thank every hole sponsor, prize contributor and supporter who helped bring the event to life.
Across the course, there was plenty to play for and, in some cases, plenty to apologise to the greenkeepers for. Guests had the chance to take on Beat the Pro with six-time European Tour winner Simon Dyson, who hosted a closest to the pin competition and gave players the chance to test themselves against someone who very much knows what they are doing.
Another closest to the pin challenge, sponsored by Golf Breaks, saw one of the day’s handiest golfers win a generous UK golf trip.
The day also included a range of prize holes and challenges, from longest drive competitions to a spin the wheel club selection challenge, where strategy, luck and blind optimism all played their part.
After 84 golfers made their way around the course, the day was won by Francis Keenan, representing FK, who shot the best round and took home the top prize. A strong performance, and one that will no doubt be mentioned at every possible opportunity until next year.
Away from the course, guests and spectators enjoyed the GOLFEST activity area, taking part in various golf-related games and soaking up the atmosphere throughout the day.
The Domis Annual Golf Day continues to be a standout moment in the calendar, giving the business the chance to thank its partners, celebrate collaboration and bring together the people who help deliver projects across the Group.

Organised to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, the day brought together the people who continue to support Domis across our projects, all in support of an incredible cause.
